Arrival to Lisbon and then transfer to Évora.
Night in Évora.
After breakfast, visit of Évora, classified as World Heritage by UNESCO.
On leaving Évora we will travel through to Marvão, a picturesque wall encased village perched high over a hill overlooking the Spain/Portugal border.
Next on our route is Castelo de Vide, where we will visit its medieval Synagogue.
Arrival to Castelo Branco by the end of the day; rapid visit and then installation and night at the hotel.
Departure after breakfast to the highest point in Portugal, the Estrela mountain. Along the way we will admire some of the most rugged and yet beautiful landscapes of Portugal.
Next Belmonte, village that was home to a crypto-Jewish community discovered only on the XX century. Visit of the Jewish Museum, and of the synagogue.
Afterwards road to Guarda for the night.
Breakfast at the hotel. Then visit of the ancient Jewish quarters of both Guarda and the neighbouring Trancoso. Driving through the interior of the country we reach Lamego, in the heart of the UNESCO classified region of the Douro Valley. Highlight of the day is a visit of one of the farms of the Douro Valley, where we will have the opportunity to taste Port wine.
Then, we will departure to Oporto, where we will spend the night.
Breakfast at the hotel and visit of Porto whose historical centre was classified by UNESCO as World Heritage. Highlights include the visit of the Cathedral and of the Stock Exchange palace, and then proceed with a wine tasting. Next, Braga, city known as the Portuguese Rome, where we will visit its Cathedral and the monumental staircase of the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte. Afterwards is Guimarães, a quaint village also classified as World Heritage, where we can enjoy a stroll through the winding medieval villages. At the end of the day, return to the hotel in Porto.

Travelling along the coast we reach Aveiro, famous for its water channels and coloured boats. Next Buçaco a national park, with its rich variety of vegetal species.
Then, Coimbra, where we will. visit the University. At the end of the day departure towards Fátima, Portugal’s most well known catholic sanctuary, for accommodation at the hotel. Possibility of assisting the Candles Procession in Fátima’s sanctuary in the evening.
First stop on our journey is Tomar, ancient templar village where we will visit the ancient Castle and Convent, as well as the Synagogue.
Next we will get to know monastery of Batalha.
Stop at Nazaré, picturesque fishing village. Afterwards, we will visit Alcobaça, where we can appreciate the tombs of the King D. Pedro and D. Inês de Castro.
Return to the hotel in Fátima by the end of the day. Accommodation at the hotel.
After breakfast, departure to Óbidos small picturesque village encased in medieval walls. Afterwards, departure to Sintra, visit of the small village and of the Royal Palace. Then departure towards Lisbon passing through the seaside resorts of Cascais and Estoril along the way, Accommodation and night at the hotel.
Discovery of Lisbon, Portugal’s capital, with its enchanting historical quarters whose highlights include st. George’s Castle, as well as the Belém monuments, as well as several testimonies of the Jewish presence in the city. Opportunity yet to visit one of Lisbon’s museums.
At the end of the day, dinner with Fado show in a typical restaurant. Accommodation at the hotel.
