Breakfast and we will continue Lisbon visit with the Belém quarter with its monuments related to the Sea Discoveries. Lunch in local restaurant. In the afternoon discovery of Sintra, summer residence of kings and nobles.
Visit of the Royal Palace in this town. Return to Lisbon, passing through Cabo da Roca, the western most point of continental Europe, Cascais and Estoril, known resorts.

Day 3
Lisbon › Funchal
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight to Funchal in Madeira.
Panoramic tour.

Day 4
Funchal › Eira Serrado › Monte
Breakfast.
Historical center visit: the local market, the cathedral and the botanical garden.
Wine cellar visit with Madeira wine tasting.

In the afternoon Pico dos Barcelos for a view of the city, Eira do Serrado for view of Curral das Freiras, a crater of a long-extinct volcano.

Day 5
Porto Moniz
Breakfast. Departure to Camara de Lobos, fishing village and Cape Girão, Europe’s highest promontory, 580 metres high. Next Ribeira Brava before driving up to Encumeada, along a route that offers you many different spectacular views. Arrival to Porto Moniz, famous swimming pools that are formed naturally amidst the rocks. Lunch in local restaurant. Return to Funchal via Paul da Serra. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6
Funchal › Ponta Delgada
Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport and flight to Ponta Delgada in São Miguel.
Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 7
Ponta Delgada & Sete Cidades
Breakfast. City visit: the cathedral, the historical monuments and São Francisco fortress.
Lunch in local restaurant and departure to Sete Cidades Lagoon, one of the most beautiful and imposing lakes on the Island of São Miguel, nestling in a crater with a sweeping 12-kilometre perimeter.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 8
Furnas
Breakfast.
Arrival to Furnas valley, crossed by two fast-flowing streams, one cold and another hot and coloured by the suspended iron it carries. Here you will appreciate a special lunch, the “cozido” cooked in a natural way. Next Botanical garden visit and swim possibility in the thermal waters. Further north visit of a tea plantation.
Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 9
Ponta Delgada › Lisbon
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight to Lisbon. Transfer to the hotel and free time. Dinner and accommodation.
